I have resigned my principal’s position effective from December 2015 after being a principal for 30 years and after a 44 year teaching career. It is a job that I have loved doing and I am looking forward to sharing my skills and knowledge with colleagues.

I am an experienced ex-principal who has kept abreast of current educational theory and research. I know what good practice is. I have high (but realistic) expectations of myself and will be efficient and thorough in carrying out work contracted to me. Confidentiality and reliability are assured.

I have been a principal since 1984 in two Catholic schools and in two state schools. I have been a principal of Decile 4 – 10 schools and in 2 teacher – 22 teacher schools, in rural and urban settings

My last school was on a 4 -5 years ERO report and in December 2015 was awarded an "international model PLC school" status for evidence based practice in improving student achievement. Find out more:

I have been working for CORE Christchurch for 0.2 as a Navigator in the Grow Waitaha Programme supporting schools to identify the pedagogy they will use and then designing learning spaces that allow for that preferred pedagogy.
